Volcanic Mix
What if we told you you could witness the formation of the earth? Kamchatka is one of the few places on Earth where this is possible. This land, created and continued to be shaped by the movement of tectonic plates, lives to the rhythm of earthquakes and eruptions. Our tour is an opportunity not just to relax, but to experience the mysteries of the planet's birth.

Kamchatka is a unique region where tectonic plates collide. This powerful interaction millions of years ago lifted an archipelago of islands from the ocean, which eventually became a single peninsula. And this process hasn't stopped! The constant movement of the plates causes high volcanic and seismic activity. Thus, Kamchatka offers us a unique opportunity to see how our planet's shape has been and continues to be shaped. It's a place where every feature is connected to volcanism.

Day 3
City tour. Halaktyrsky beach.
Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is the capital of the region. The city was founded in 1740 by Vitus Bering's second expedition. Over its nearly 300-year history, the city has repeatedly been involved in military operations, and in 2011, it was awarded the title of "City of Military Glory."
Just 25 kilometers from the city, a world of different colors and sensations awaits us. This is a place of powerful contrasts: black volcanic sand beneath our feet and the foaming waves of the Pacific Ocean. Khalaktyrsky Beach is strewn not with ordinary sand, but with magnetic titanomagnetite. These are particles of volcanic rock that can be collected with a magnet!
From the top of Khalaktyrsky Rock, a breathtaking panorama opens up: on one side, a majestic chain of domestic volcanoes; on the other, the endless blue of the Pacific Ocean. Around us, depending on the season, the ground is carpeted with either a carpet of flowering plants or ruby-colored lingonberries.

Day 4
Dacha thermal springs (at the foot of Mutnovsky volcano) + caves of Gorely volcano.
7:30 AM - Departure to the foot of Gorely Volcano through the "Fiery Gate" into Southern Kamchatka. We pass Vilyuchinsky Volcano and a waterfall, pay tribute to the gomuls (local guardians), visit the lava flows and caves of Gorely Volcano, and then continue to the Dachnye Thermal Springs at the foot of Mutnovsky Volcano. We explore the manifestations of active volcanism: fumaroles, boiling cauldrons, and erupting steam and gas jets.
In case of inclement weather or inaccessibility to the caves, the itinerary may be adjusted at the guide's discretion.

Day 5
The Vachkaztsy mountain complex.
Vachkazhets is a monumental milestone in Kamchatka's history. It's not a creation of fire, but a witness to the collision of tectonic plates. The work that followed was taken over by the greatest sculptor—a Holocene glacier.
Our greatest reward awaits us: Lake Takhkoloch, a pearl born of a glacier. Our journey begins with a trail through the amazing "Paradoxical Forest," where trees, twisted by snow and wind, create surreal landscapes. We'll see ancient "cirques" (corridors) and waterfalls.

Day 6
Tolmacheva Lake. Maar "Bear's Bowl".
Our journey begins in the realm of the Kamchatka taiga. You'll encounter a long-lived birch tree over 300 years old. It can grant a good person's wish. On the horizon, the perfect cone of Opala Volcano appears—a stratovolcano reborn from the depths of its gigantic ancestor.
Nearby is the "Bear Bowl" maar—a lake born of a monstrous phreatic explosion. Its perfectly round shape and depth are the result of this cataclysm. As the name suggests, this place is frequently visited by bears.
The culmination awaits us: Tolmachevo Lake. Originally a dammed lake, it was tamed and transformed by man. With the construction of the Tolmachevo hydroelectric cascade, the water level rose, and the lake became even more magnificent.

Day 7
Avachinsky Volcano. Camel Extrusion.
The path to the Camel extrusion runs along a ghost riverbed, which at any moment could transform from a dry river into a raging river. From an altitude of 900 meters, a panoramic view opens up: the colossal Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes. Reaching the foot of the Camel, we begin a 200-meter climb.
Important! We ask you to please not feed the Eurasian ground squirrels! Let's keep them wild and viable.

  • Swimwear (swimsuits, towels, flip-flops) for visiting the thermal springs.

Necessary equipment
  • Footwear
The most important thing in traveling is good shoes. You will walk a lot on different surfaces: slag, lava, snow, sand, etc. Therefore, you will need different shoes.
    1. For walks and ascents - well-worn trekking boots (such as Gore-tex) on a thick, corrugated sole, fixing the ankle .
    2. In July, we strongly recommend taking rubber boots on a grooved sole for hiking in the snow.
    3. Comfortable shoes for walking around the city.
    4. Rubber slates, comfortable when bathing in thermal pools.
  • Clothing
    1. The most convenient principle in clothing - "cabbage" or "onion" - consists in combining: ajacket (waterproof Waterproof and a windproof Wind block), a fleece jacket, a vest, a T-shirt.
    2. Windproof and waterproof pants and jacket.
    3. Gloves will need windproof.

    3. Remedy for mosquitoes and midges. We have practically no ticks. Fixed single bites within the city.
    4. Personal hygiene products: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
    5. We recommend "hiking" or "flashlights" for walking on snow and slag so that nothing gets into the boots.
    6. Trekking sticks. They can be rented (100 rubles per round).
    7. Raincoat (optional).
  • Individual first aid kit
