Day 2. September 29 (Monday)
Sea excursion to Russkaya Bay.
Important: The launch of boats into the border zone (Russkaya Bay) must be carried out strictly according to the schedule approved by the border service. The exact time of the launch at sea is communicated the evening before. The launch is scheduled between 07:00 and 09:00 in the morning. Please be understanding — this is a mandatory requirement for all vessels entering the border waters.

  • Breakfast at the hotel:
  • for a standard launch (after 08:00) — breakfast is served at the hotel restaurant;
  • For an early departure (07:00), participants receive a lunch box from the hotel instead of breakfast (it is issued at the reception the evening before or in the morning upon check‑out).
  • Group gathering in the hotel lobby – 1 hour before the announced departure time.
  • Transfer to the pier is included for guests staying at “Arsenyev”.
  • Sea trip (8–9 hours): access to the Pacific Ocean, Russkaya Bay, observation of whales, orcas, seabirds, and the “Three Brothers” cliffs.
  • If there is a storm in the Pacific Ocean and the Ministry of Emergency Situations imposes restrictions on leaving Avachinskaya Bay, the excursion will be held in Avachinskaya Bay without venturing into the Pacific Ocean.
  • Lunch on the route (included).
  • Return to the pier, transfer to the hotel.
  • Dinner – on your own.

Day 3. September 30 (Tuesday)
Helicopter tour to Lake Kuril.

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer from the hotel to the helicopter pad (included). The departure time is confirmed the day before (depends on the weather and the queue).
  • Helicopter flight (MI‑8) to Kuril Lake – the main spawning ground for Kamchatka salmon (autumn salmon run, peak activity of Kamchatka brown bears).
  • Observation of Kamchatka brown bears from safe distances.
  • Lunch – lunch boxes (included).
  • Return by helicopter, transfer to the hotel.
  • Dinner – on your own.
Day 4. October 1 (Wednesday)
Khalaktyr Beach + Avachinsky Volcano (the Verblud extrusion).
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Departure from the Arsenyev hotel to the shore of the Pacific Ocean, exploration of the black volcanic sand of titanium‑magnetite composition. Transfer to the foot of the Avachinsky volcano.
  • Ascent to the “Camel” extrusion — exploration of a unique magmatic formation.
  • Exploration of volcanic landscapes and alpine vegetation.
  • Lunch on the route — lunch boxes (included).
  • Return to the hotel.
  • Dinner — self‑catering.

Day 5. October 2 (Thursday)
Dacha springs at the foot of the Mutnovsky Volcano.
Important: For advertising purposes, the route is sometimes called the “Small Valley of Geysers.” There are no geysers there, and there never were. This is an area of active volcanism with fumaroles, boiling pots, and pulsating springs.

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Group pickup at the hotel, transfer to the foot of the Mutnovsky Volcano. Departure time is confirmed the day before.
  • On the way, a stop at Vilyuchinsky Volcano (photo pause, observation point).
  • Next – a descent along a serpentine road to the foot of Mutnovsky Volcano.
  • A visit to a unique zone of active volcanism – a thermal site: fumaroles, boiling cauldrons, pulsating springs.
  • Lunch on the route (included).
  • Return to the hotel.
  • Dinner – on your own.

Backup day (in case of bad weather).
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Free time / alternative program: if the weather is bad, the excursion to Lake Kuril will be rescheduled.

    • The refund for the cancelled excursion will be issued in full — 97000 rubles per participant.
    • The refund must be issued no later than October 3 (the day of official confirmation of the cancellation).
  • A guide for a sea excursion (Russkaya Bay)
    • The boats depart strictly according to the border service schedule.
    • The exact departure time is communicated the evening before (in the group chat or via SMS).
    • Departure is scheduled between 07:00 and 09:00.
    • The duration of the trip is 8–9 hours.
    • If departure is at 07:00, breakfast is replaced with a lunch box (issued at the reception).
    • Check‑in in the hotel lobby is 1 hour before departure.
    • Bring with you: a warm windbreaker, a hat, gloves, a camera, binoculars, and motion sickness medication (if necessary).
    • Return time: approximately 16:00–18:00.
  • Recommendations for equipment
    • Trekking boots or sneakers with a rigid sole
    • Warm jacket / windbreaker (it’s cool in Kamchatka in September–October, and there may be wind and rain)
