Day6
Nachiki ~ Pauzhetka.
Departure after breakfast to the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk (named after the flowing river – Okhota). One of the early names of the sea is Kamchatka. From the peninsula, the coast is a low-lying surface with black sand, of volcanic origin, the coastline of which is poorly indented. The road to the village of Oktyabrsky runs along a spit located between the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bolshaya River. The feeling is quite unusual, because the trip takes place on a road with water on both sides of it! Oktyabrsky village welcomes you with its wind power stations, joyfully rotating blades. Crossings, and there will be 3 of them, are carried out on ferries, which is also rare in everyday life. In the evening, after driving 400 km along various roads, the group settles down to rest in the village. Pauzhetka.

Day 7
Valley of the Seven Gomuls ~ Emerald Cascade ~ Thermal Bath Second Life.
A day of rest. Tour of the village of Pauzhetka. A visit to the Pauzhet thermal springs, located near the Pauzhetskaya GEOESP, with mud boilers, pulsating springs, fumaroles; "Valley of the Seven Gomuls", cascade "Emerald", thermal bath "Second Life". The Pauzhetskie springs are located in the valley of the Pauzhetki River, a large left tributary of the river. Lake. They resemble the springs of the Valley of Geysers in miniature - the same phenomena, but on a reduced scale. The sources were first described more than 200 years ago by Stepan Petrovich Krasheninnikov. He noted that the keys "beat in many places like fountains, for the most part with great noise, one and a half feet high." 2 geysers used to work here. Since the beginning of the operation of the Pauzhetskaya geoenergy station, the activity of the geysers (Old and New) has fallen. Externally, the geysers were almost indistinguishable from pulsating springs and, of course, inferior to the beauty of the geysers of the Geysernaya River. For example, the New Griffin geyser does not have a gryphon, the water flows out of a barely noticeable depression in the rough alluvium. Its cycle in 1965 was 30 hours; the gushing period was 45-60 minutes; the width of the boiling column was 0.4-0.5 m; the height of the water emissions was only 20-30 cm. He is, of course, a baby, but still a geyser, a direct relative of the large and beautiful geysers located in the valley of the Geysernaya River! At the key site of the Pauzhet springs, there are continuously bubbling griffins that emit jets of boiling water and steam to a height of up to 1 m. The springs are surrounded by a thin crust of geyserite.

Day 8
Kuril Lake.
Early departure to Kuril Lake, located on the territory of the South Kamchatka Federal Reserve, included in the UNESCO Natural Heritage List in 1996 as part of the volcanoes of Kamchatka. The walk will take place along the Ozernaya River. Several rivers and streams flow into Kuril Lake: Khakytsin, Etamynk, Gavryushka, Vychenkiya, Kirushutk, and one Lake River flows into the Sea of Okhotsk. On the way to the lake (the route can take place by transport of the reserve or on foot), stop to visit the observation deck on the Ozernaya River. A place where Kamchatka brown bears fish freely. Another 4 km and you are on Kuril Lake, the largest sockeye salmon spawning ground in Eurasia. It is possible to ride on the lake, if there is a free boat, for an additional cash payment. After watching the bears, go to the monument of nature – Kutkhiny baty. These are pumice rocks created by wind, water and volcanic activity. Stepan Petrovich Krasheninnikov, who studied Kamchatka from 1737 to 1741, passed on the legend of the Kamchatka itelmen, who saw huge boats in the shape of rocks - the baths of the supreme deity Kutha, left to dry. So the "forgotten" boats have been standing here for several thousand years and are waiting for their owner to set off along the river to the sea. Late return, rest.

Necessary equipment
Footwear
The most important thing in traveling is good shoes. You will walk a lot on different surfaces: slag, lava, snow, sand, etc. Therefore, you will need different shoes.
  1. For walks and ascents - well-worn trekking boots (such as Gore-tex) on a thick, corrugated sole, fixing the ankle .
  2. In July, we strongly recommend taking rubber boots on a grooved sole for hiking in the snow.
  3. Comfortable shoes for walking around the city.
  4. Rubber slates, comfortable when bathing in thermal pools.
Clothing
1. The most convenient principle in clothing - "cabbage" or "onion" - consists in combining: ajacket (waterproof Waterproof and a windproof Wind block), a fleece jacket, a vest, a T-shirt.
2. Windproof and waterproof pants and jacket.
3. Gloves will need windproof.
4. Cap.
5. You will often swim in various thermal pools along the way, so do not forget bathing suits, towels .
6. Socks that do not rub or get wet, it is better to buy in specialized stores.
Other necessary things
1. Sunglasses with high eye protection.
2. High order sunburn cream for face and hands from burns in the mountains.
3. Remedy for mosquitoes and midges. We have practically no ticks. Fixed single bites within the city.
4. Personal hygiene products: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
5. We recommend "hiking" or "flashlights" for walking on snow and slag so that nothing gets into the boots.
6. Trekking sticks.
7. Raincoat (optional).
