JEEP TOUR IN CENTRAL KAMCHATKA: SHIVELUCH - APAKHONCHICH - KOPYTO

Early check out at 6:00. Stop in the village Sokochi - "Pie Paradise". Moving to the north 500 km with a stop for lunch in the village - Milkovo. Exit from the federal highway. Moving 40 km on real off-road. We pass Mount Kopyto. We set up a tent camp or stay for the night in the house of the natural park. Dinner. If the weather is good and the group will be there by 19:00, then an evening excursion to a small amazing lake, in which volcanoes are reflected in the sunset illumination - the giants of the north: Klyuchevskaya Sopka, Kamen, Plosky and Sharp Tolbachiki.

Hot coffee. Photoshoot on the shore of the lake before dawn. Breakfast. Hiking in the canyon of the Studena River (8 km one way). Fanciful stone reliefs and huge stone balls, as if hanging on the head, are the result of the grinding of volcanic rocks by the waters of a mountain river, held by stone banks. Lunch in the canyon. Return to camp. Dinner.

Early departure to Shiveluch volcano. The volcano is in an active phase and for the second decade it has been disturbing the surrounding forest dwellers with ash emissions, lahars and earthquakes. Lunch on the "dry" river flowing down the slope of the volcano. It becomes a powerful full-flowing river in rainy weather or during active snow melting on the volcano, then it dries up. Transfer to the Apakhonchich volcanologists station, located at the foot of the highest active volcano in Eurasia, Klyuchevskaya Sopka. Walk at the foot of Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano (4750 m). The height of the volcano is constantly changing as it is active. The cone either grows or collapses. We will have a small safe introductory ascent to the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano for 4 hours.

Hiking in the direction of Bezymyanny volcano to the Ambon stone. Dinner at the camp.

Transfer Apahonchich - Esso. Accommodation in a small private hotel. Swimming in the thermal pool. Relaxation. Walk around the village. Optional tour of the Bystrinsky natural park.

Rafting with the possibility of fishing along a calm and picturesque section of the river. The landscape on the route is often called Kamchatka's Switzerland.

Departure after breakfast to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Lunch at Milkovo. Bathing in the Malkinskiye hydrotherms or in the Nachikinskiy pool.
